Who’s Taking Us There

Allow us to introduce our staff ministry team

Praise Assembly has a 75-year history of ministry to Springfield.  Visit our Legacy of Leadership page to meet the great men of God who have filled the pulpit of East Side/Praise Assembly since its beginnings.

Senior Pastor – Kenneth and Amy Fent

Ken was born and raised in Oklahoma (except for a four year detour in Arkansas) in the home of an Assemblies of God Pastor. He accepted Christ at a young age, but did not receive a call to pastoral ministry himself until a young adult. He graduated from Central Bible College in 1988. He finished his graduate program at Oral Roberts University in 1998. Ken has pastored or taught at the Bible College level for more than twenty years. He became the Senior Pastor of Praise Assembly in July of 2007.

Ken has been married to wife Amy for twenty seven years. They are the proud parents of two children (Angel & Caleb) and two grandchildren (Maggie & Silas).
